Insight dashboard

The hosted analytics layer that turns your AI-assisted engineering activity into team-level insight.

Insight is context-mode's analytics layer for AI-assisted engineering teams. Where ctx_stats reports the context savings of your current session, Insight is the cross-session, team-level view — it turns your AI-assisted engineering activity into trends you can actually read.

It is a hosted dashboard at https://context-mode.com/insight. You open it from your agent; there is nothing to run as a local server.

Open the dashboard

Open Insight
context-mode insight

This prints the dashboard URL and opens it in your default browser. You can also open it from chat by typing ctx insight to your agent, or with the slash command /context-mode:ctx-insight in Claude Code and Cursor — all three open the same hosted dashboard.

If the browser can't be opened automatically, the command prints the URL so you can open https://context-mode.com/insight by hand.

What it surfaces

  • Per-engineer productive rate — how much of the work translates into forward progress.
  • Retry waste — effort lost to repeated, unproductive attempts.
  • Blocker detection — where work stalls.
  • Role-narrowed views — focused cuts for CTO, EM, IC, CISO, FinOps, and DevOps, so each role sees the slice that matters to them.

Insight vs. ctx_stats

Reach for the one that matches the question:

  • ctx_stats — the savings of the session you're in right now, in the terminal or chat. Local and immediate.
  • Insight — the team-level, cross-session trend (productive rate, retry waste, blockers) in a visual dashboard.
